This article is a bad paraphrase of several tourism websites. Perhaps somebody can clean it up to something more useful and unique? James084 14:59, 18 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

height of chembra[edit]

Several other sources in the internet, which includes some .gov.in sites like http://keralatourism.gov.in/index.php?source=desti&destid=6636014&catid=&zone=1 seems to think that the height is infact 2100m . I've personally been to the place and have verified it to be the truth from official records. Sad that I cannot quote any reference materials.

The article cited for chembra peak's height as 2000m is questionable. Its an outdated article with a probable typo and can be found in this link: http://www.hindu.com/thehindu/yw/2003/03/15/stories/2003031500900300.htm [Strangely the Wiki article is not referring to this as well.]

I understand that Wiki's policy says "Truth does not matter ... only verifiability does!" and now that Hindu article has published wrong information, Wiki seems to just continue with this.

Personally, I am not much familiar with Wiki and would like to check with the editor before suggesting / making modifications. chembra is 2050 m tall — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2406:5600:16:B70B:50D8:EB15:7B10:D8CD (talk) 18:51, 23 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
