Reason for expansion[edit]

Given the big differences between the versions shown in the UK and the US, I felt the more important of differences should be noted.

I also decided to lay out some of the differences between the reality and the mini-series.

Historical error[edit]

I haven't seen the whole miniseries, but there is an error in the section listing historical problems. The page now says that Louise de Keroualle fell out of favor in 1676. I don't know what happens in the movie, but the real Louise de Keroualle retained her influence with Charles until the end of his life. Barbara Villiers was the one who fell out of favor around 1676.

Unfair portrail of James[edit]

Overall this is a fantastic film on Charles, but it sort of portrays James negatively as the few times he is on screen he is throwing a hissy fit. Is there any way we can mention in the article that is might be an unfair view of James? - Yorkshirian (talk) 19:39, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
