Working on making it more encyclopedic, sorry. Cityfutures (talk)

Made number of changes, is this article up to wiki standards? --Cityfutures (talk) 19:53, 26 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The big problem with this article is that it is written from the perspective of the organisation and is primarily supported by self-published sources. There are a few third party sources quoted, but as far as I can see they are either blog/forum posts (and therefore not very reliable) or they only mention the organisation in passing. Do you have any more third party sources that provide a more substantial overview of the organisation? Road Wizard (talk) 20:10, 26 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I've added a Gotham Gazette article that describes the organization as the first reference. Does that qualify? Cityfutures (talk) 20:29, 26 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. That is a much more substantial source to base the article on. There is still the problem that it is written from the organisation's own perspective, so it will need a bit of a rewrite. I will see what I can do to rephrase it. Road Wizard (talk) 21:10, 26 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Many thanks for your help. Cityfutures (talk)
I have now rewritten the article and removed the organisation's mission statement along with the weaker sources. This has left a stub article as a solid base to build on in the future.
If you wish to expand the article yourself, you should read our three key policies of Verifiability, No original research and the Neutral point of view. We generally discourage editors writing about subjects that they are personally involved with as it is difficult for them to remain impartial.
