Citing Baidu[edit]

Zelchenko: I see that you posted on Village pump (policy)] based on the incorrect idea that Baidu is "blacklisted". As far as I can tell, it is not blacklisted -- I just tried to use it and got the deprecation warning, which is a warning. I regret that Headbomb seems to have given you the wrong impression by reverting with the edit summary "bypassing the blacklisted domain is a no no", but I am not supporting re-insertion of the cite. I just wanted to clear up this part of the issue -- you should have been able to cite Baidu if it had been necessary. Peter Gulutzan (talk) 16:52, 5 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
