How is the theme from the 1st movement related to DSCH?[edit]

It's said that it is "derived from the DSCH motif", but how exactly? I twisted it around, transposed it, turned it upside-down and backwards but haven't been able to find out. The pitches are (if we stick to German notation) GFesCesB, and even one half-step higher, we get only the last two right: GisFCH. If transposed to D, we get DCesGesF, which doesn't work either. The intervallic structure is for the most part different. I'm sure there is a reason for calling it DSCH, but frankly, right now all I can see is myth-making... it should really be pointed out in the article how the notion that it is related to DSCH comes across... -- megA (talk) 12:04, 8 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
