Please change Cathy Engelbert's title from CEO of Deloitte LLP to CEO of Deloitte. [1] [2] [3] Mmartinimww (talk) 18:59, 11 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Implemented As the talk page flow traditionally runs from top to bottom, subsequent edit requests placed at the bottom of the page would be expedited much more quickly. FYI.  Spintendo  ᔦᔭ  21:43, 4 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

INTRO: SECOND PARAGRAPH, FIRST SENTENCE Remove “and accounting” and replace with “consulting, tax and advisory” [1]

  •  Not done The Wall Street Journal source cited used the word "accounting" not "consulting, tax and advisory". Wikipedia is based on credible, independent sources like WSJ, not the company's website, which is the proposed source. CorporateM (Talk) 20:59, 1 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

INTRO: Add this sentence to create a third paragraph: "Prior to becoming CEO in March 2015, she held the position of chairman and CEO of the audit subsidiary of Deloitte." [2]

  •  Done Something very similar was already there. I added the CEO bit and the name of the subsiidary. 21:02, 1 July 2015 (UTC)

Please go ahead and do these two CorporateM (Talk) 21:04, 1 July 2015 (UTC) PERSONAL LIFE AND EDUCATION: FIRST SENTENCE Add "with seven brothers and sisters" to the first sentence "Engelbert grew up." [3][reply]

PERSONAL LIFE AND EDUCATION: SECOND SENTENCE Add "where she played basketball and lacrosse" to the second sentence "She graduated from Leigh University" [4]

 Not done

  • These two rely on Deloutte's website, whereas Wikipedia is based primarily on credible independent sources. A lot of this is also very promotional, such as "worlds' leading" and having an "Honors" section based on a primary source. CorporateM (Talk) 21:04, 1 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

CAREER: Request update to add the following as a third paragraph under this section - "Engelbert held a number of other senior leadership positions at Deloitte prior to becoming CEO, including serving on the Deloitte LLP Board of Directors, membership on the Board’s Strategic Investment, Finance & Audit, Risk, and Regulatory & Government Relations Committees. She has also served as National Managing Partner – Regions for Deloitte & Touche LLP; Deputy National Professional Practice Director; and the Financial Accounting and Reporting Services Quality Risk Manager. Engelbert is a past member of the Deloitte LLP Nominating Committee and Deloitte’s Board Council. She has held partner roles serving several of the world’s leading life sciences and pharmaceutical companies and advises multinational companies on financial instrument accounting matters." [5]

I couldn't find anything but I don't think Cathy quoting her own career should be allowed to stay. You would think a person of her stature would at least have one of those Bloomberg bio summaries. LedgerTom (talk) 21:55, 10 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

ADD "Boards and honors" section: Request update to add the following - "Engelbert is a member of the Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council, which advises the Financial Accounting Standards Board on strategic issues, project priorities, and other matters that affect accounting standard-setting. She is a past recipient of the YWCA's Tribute to Women in Industry Award, and is listed among the Women’s Fund of New Jersey’s “25 Most Influential Women in Finance.” She is also a member of the Accounting Advisory Board for Lehigh University." INTRO: Add a second paragraph that reads: "In her role as CEO, Engelbert oversees more than 70,000 employees in nearly 90 U.S. cities and India, and nearly $15 billion in annual revenue.[1]

Not done The wording of this sentence is rather close to the original. Could you reword it please? Altamel (talk) 01:33, 28 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION: Update first paragraph to say "five brothers and two sisters" instead of "seven brothers and sisters" for the sake of accuracy. Also add: "Her father was an IT manager and mother was a medical practice administrator."[2]

 Done Altamel (talk) 01:33, 28 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION: Add a paragraph stating: "At Lehigh, she played varsity basketball and lacrosse, captaining both teams. [3] She was named Most Valuable Player of the East Coast Conference basketball tournament in her senior year. After graduation, she received her CPA certification and became a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.[4]"

Seems like you have decided to go ahead and add the information yourself, which is not a good thing to do if you have a COI. I have reviewed the edits, and have removed some of the implemented information - stuff like the interview script are absolutely unnecessary, the statement just before the script is all that's needed, else, it may be an issue of undue weight. Some of the info was attributed to [this source], which itself has a conflict of interest (seeing as the person is this University's graduate), and therefore an unreliable source. Since some of the info was kept, I have marked the request as partially fulfilled. Regards, VB00 (talk) 19:34, 5 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
