  • Comment Apart from anything else, this person meets WP:NACADEMIC #8 "The person is or has been the head or chief editor of a major, well-established academic journal in their subject area." as she is editor-in-chief of Heart, the official journal of the British Cardiovascular Society, as stated in the article. Her textbooks are in their 3rd and 4th editions, so she also meets #4 "The person's academic work has made a significant impact in the area of higher education, affecting a substantial number of academic institutions." She probably meets other criteria of WP:NACADEMIC as well, but the evidence for notability against criteria 4 and 8 is clear in the article, for anyone familiar with WP:NACADEMIC. Delete[edit]

Recommend removing this article. The only "notable" item is this person was born a female. A male of similar background would not be granted their own wiki article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.139.57.51 (talk) 06:57, 25 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
