Internal/culture/hierarchy[edit]

Do we honestly need these sections? It just sounds like some overly proud employee ranting about their employment using jargon that no one really will benefit from. --Mazeau (talk) 12:33, 12 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

agreed. also using terms like "peons" is not exactly a neutral term. test STHayden [ Talk ] 14:12, 18 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Basic Standards[edit]

This is obviously written in adspeak and corporate speak, not encyclopedia speak. And what exactly is a "perceived difference in pricing"? Different prices are indeed different in both perception and reality. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.118.229.114 (talk) 17:59, 17 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Severe editing as an alternative to deletion[edit]

This article has such serious problems that it probably should be deleted. It has been tagged as an orphan for almost five years, and as spam for almost two. Neither issue has been addressed effectively.

It is pretty clearly a vanity project for someone deeply invested in the company—practically the whole article was written anonymously on July 10, 2008, from 68.63.171.159, an IP address in New Jersey where the company is located (with no edits to any other WP articles). Some attempts have been made in the succeeding five years to rein in the article's rampantly promotional thrust, but those attempts have not gone far enough.

My first inclination was to nominate this article for deletion, since its persistent orphan status and flagrant promotional bias amply qualify it for deletion. But as a preliminary alternative to deletion I am editing it instead. I have cut out almost the entire content of the article, since nearly every word flagrantly violated Wikipedia's standards of neutrality.

Maybe someone who is interested enough in the subject but has no vested interest in it will contribute toward making this a useful encyclopedia article. Otherwise, it should be deleted, since all the signs so far indicate that the subject is notable only to those who want to promote it.

I have had very good experiences shopping at Campmor, both online and in the store, but that alone does not qualify it for inclusion in an encyclopedia.
