Removed criticism[edit]

Although it is fairly obvious that the Pre-U will mostly be offered at independent schools, Cambridge says it will be designed to be suitable for for independent and maintained sector schools. Although the infrastructure requirements are likely to be expensive and restrict application of the curriculum to independent and maintained schools in affluent LEAs, it is not fair at this stage to criticise it for being perceived as "elitist".
