ranking query[edit]

Is this the 7th highest grossing film of 1970 or the 8th highest of 1969? I suppose it could be both, but most likely one is in error. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.53.198.79 (talk) 01:51, 30 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

unsourced text[edit]

This article claims that, "The film marked the return of Ingrid Bergman to the movies," a claim that is clearly false and has no source. The article then goes on to claim that, "After returning to film in Anastasia, Bergman agreed to star in this film," again, there is no source for this claim, and as with the previous statement it has no validity. Ingrid Bergman made Anastasia in 1956, thirteen years before Cactus Flower (1969). In those years she made the Stanley Donen directed Indiscreet (1958) with Cary Grant; The Inn of the Sixth Happiness (1958) with Curt Jurgens; Goodbye Again (1961) with Anthony Perkins fresh from his success in Psycho (1960); The Visit (1964) with Anthony Quinn; The Yellow Rolls-Royce (1964) with Rex Harrison, George C. Scott, Shirley MacLaine and Omar Sharif. The idea that Cactus Flower represents a return to the movies is clearly nonsense when the woman never stopped making movies with big name stars by well known directors and producers. For these obvious reasons I have deleted the whole paragraph and any editor wishing to replace it will require some sources. Cottonshirtτ 06:08, 26 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
