Just news reporting

Favelas: Qual a necessidade de texto tão longo sobre um lugar que não está ente mais os afetados? Pior, só fala sobre o Rio de Janeiro e não sobre o Brasil. O Famoso complexo de vira-lata. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 179.221.5.189 (talk) 14:00, 24 March 2020 (UTC)

This article is little more than news reports from Brazilian media, when did a media outlet become an authorative source for use in citations? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.175.102.211 (talk) 19:18, 12 March 2020 (UTC)

What do you suggest? Using sources from WHO and from the Brazilian Ministry of Health? Mateussf (talk) 04:51, 20 March 2020 (UTC)

Using data from the Brazilian Ministry of Health would be the ideal scenario, but the site is down since March 18th. WHO Situation Reports are, unfortunately, not up to date. The most recent as I answer this has 11 deaths only. It seems that we will need, for now, to rely on Brazilian media reports. Ledrblaka (talk) 22:51, 23 March 2020 (UTC)

Little Grip

In the two instances in the article where Bolsonaro refers his possible infection writen "little grip", Gripe = Flu in portuguese. "Gripezinha" = Diminutive of "Gripe" The correct translation would be "Little Flu". Atriel (talk) 18:40, 24 March 2020 (UTC)

Please correct. I am fluent in Portuguese and the comment is right. In another instance he referred to COVID-19 as a "little cold". This article is very important as Brazil is the largest country in Latin America with 200 million people, bordering every South American country except Ecuador and Chile. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 181.126.201.186 (talk) 23:32, 25 March 2020 (UTC)

Color Code

Please revert the color code on the map to the old light red to dark red. This is a pandemic, not an Olympics where we need to enfatize the country colors. --Hagnat (talk) 22:18, 30 March 2020 (UTC)
