The result of the move request was: article moved to CCTV News (Chinese). There was no clear consensus to establish this article as the primary topic; that distinction can be determined through discussion at a later time. Dabomb87 (talk) 00:02, 2 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose there is no reason provided, and it's not a standard disambiguatory note. 65.95.13.158 (talk) 04:53, 23 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. CCTV News (English) is also a TV channel. The distinguishing characteristic of this one is the Chinese language. Kanguole 02:40, 26 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Not exactly. This should be the primary topic and be titled simply CCTV News. No need for the disambiguation page; a hatnote can lead people to the English channel.--Kotniski (talk) 09:16, 30 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
    • comment but this is English Wikipedia, wouldn't the English channel have primacy over the Chinese one? 65.93.15.80 (talk) 04:43, 30 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment if it isn't renamed to the suggested title, then CCTV News (Chinese) should exist as a redirect. 65.93.14.29 (talk) 04:24, 13 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

What is 13?[edit]

What does the 13 in the channel name refer to? Surely it is not the designation of the broadcast frequency in Beijing. GBC (talk) 04:12, 25 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
