quite a bit more history out there[edit]

As with Waddington Harbour, at the head of the inlet, there's a lot of history yet to be added here. This article has some very interesting tidbits quoted from sources in the course of its thesis/speculation about Tsilhqot'in and Hwemelthkwu (Homalco) settlements and activities prior to the Waddington episode...and speculates about Major Downie covertly destroying a Hwemelthkwu village by blasting an avalanched down on it...the article also has their name for the inlet, and the Homathko and Southgate rivers.Skookum1 (talk) 17:51, 9 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
