Coordinates[edit]

They're questionable (perhaps from someone's notion of the center of the location?). Technically Bryans Road is the intersection of Marshall Hall Rd/Livingston Rd with Rt 210. Before 210 was constructed, Bryans Road was a little to the southeast, where Billingsly Road crosses. Tedickey (talk) 11:13, 1 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Origin of name[edit]

The center location is where the post office was placed. Story cited explains how the name came into existence, regardless Central coordinates. Also the Strawberry farm that Mr Bryan had, became the subdivision Strawberry Hills. Speaking of coordinates, why would it be named after someone located in Marshall Hall, almost 100 years later?

Why does the truth about how Bryans Road got its name keep being removed? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1003:B038:F5C0:D0BE:8C15:972B:1493 (talk) 02:46, 12 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Bryans Road Origins[edit]

Why does true story of how Bryans Road received its name, and who it is named after keep being removed? Even after a supporting reference was cited? 2600:1003:B038:F5C0:D0BE:8C15:972B:1493 (talk) 02:50, 12 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The edit was reverted because it altered the information given by a reliable source of information, using an unverifiable (and apparently unreliable) source. By the way, Wikipedia is not truth TEDickey (talk) 23:11, 12 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The source was an newspaper article what was attached, and was verifiable. Where is the reliable source you have for how Bryans Road got it's name? 164.82.32.13 (talk) 16:24, 27 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Read the topic: it's sourced by a county government planning document, which is easily verified. Where's the source which you assert was "attached" (but was not). TEDickey (talk) 23:27, 27 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
It was attached, but when you removed the edit, you removed the link as well. The county government planning document has no information about the origins of how Bryans Road received its name. 73.87.232.75 (talk) 15:51, 24 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Moyaone Reserve growing...[edit]

Recent edits state that Moyaone Reserve is "split" with Accokeek. The given source merely states that Bryan Point Road is one of the "roughly bounded" parts. But that boundary is a mile or two away from Bryans Road (the road and this topic are not the same) TEDickey (talk) 15:34, 8 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I am the person who made the edit. Parts of the Moyaone Reserve are in Charles County and are served by the Bryans Road Volunteer Fire Department. That was the basis for including. You can see at the bottom of this page a map that shows the county line.
That said, I plugged the addresses into things and it came up Accokeek. I misunderstood the boundary. Sorry. Will revert! Soren Dayton (talk) 21:07, 8 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
