Material related to 2006 AfD[edit]

It is said that Zaphod Beeblebrox's birth was marked by earthquakes, tidal waves, tornadoes, firestorms, the explosion of three neighbouring stars, and, shortly afterwards, by the issuing of over six and three quarter million writs for damages from all of the major landowners in his Galactic sector. However, the only person by whom this is said is Beeblebrox himself, and there are several possible theories to explain this.

  • In the future, please complete the nomination process properly. I did it for you this time. And please avoid using silly quotes to make your point. It's hard to take you seriously otherwise. By the way, the possibility of a subject editting their own article isn't an automatic reason to nominate for deletion. Especially when they are inherently notable. --Etacar11 11:33, 28 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Sorry, I just realized that anons can't create new pages, so there was no way for you to complete the nomination. And the above quote IS from WP:Auto, but I still think it's silly! ;) BUT I still think the nomination itself was not warranted. --Etacar11 13:46, 28 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Review comments[edit]

Some suggestions for improvement as the article is expanded:

  • Template:Infobox Scientist should be added
  • Photograph should be added from a source with a free license
  • Lead needs expanding and should emphasise reasons for notability of subject
  • Information on research should be expanded
  • Awards section should be converted from list to prose
  • References should be expanded, and should preferably be converted to inline format with reference list (not external links)
  • External link(s) present which could be used to expand article

Religion?[edit]

Syd770 added Category:Australian Jews but there is nothing in the article to support this, and no reference. This is contrary to WP:BLPCAT, which says that "Categories regarding religious beliefs... should not be used unless the subject has publicly self-identified with the belief..., and the subject's beliefs ... are relevant to their public life or notability, according to reliable published sources." So either the information should be added to the body with suitable references, or remove the category.--Gronk Oz (talk) 11:54, 21 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind - it has been reversed by ‎Graham87, thanks.--Gronk Oz (talk) 01:44, 22 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
