Content and Elaboration[edit]

This article is off to a good start. I think it could benefit from an introduction paragraph including key points on Flanagan's identity and significance. This would provide an easy reference for people only concerned with basic facts on him. It would be beneficial to know why Flanagan was acquitted on charges after Days of Rage (noted in Which Way the Wind Blew). In reading the section addressing the Townhouse Explosion, I am a bit confused as to whether Boudin was literally placed inside the townhouse during the time of the explosion or did you mean police were pinning the crime on her? You should cite the source when you reference Flanagan's commentary in Weather Underground. It would be beneficial to elaborate on the purpose of the trip to Algeria, if possible. Finally, it would be great if you added a bit more about Flanagan's bar in New York and the crowd it attracted. I think your article is a good start, as well.I understand that there is a not a lot of references and sources to play with, but if you can try to find some interviews so you can explain a little bit more of his ideology. Good start[edit]

This entry is off to a good start. Do you have a resource for where he was raised? And just a few explanatory notes on his acquittal and perhaps a little more on his foreign travel to explain the why and how of the trip. This is still a really good entry with good information. Made Mistake on my Last Edit[edit]

First Comments in 3 Years[edit]

Most comments above, historytrain/nothing/pearlscholar, are quite valid. A new, expanded lede is required. More notability in lede. In the body, yes, cites are needed and are available. As far as Brian's NY bar . . . Biblio and better MOS style. Article is too short, given the suggestion that Brian helped after townhouse explosion, setting up arrangements in Algeria to house Timothy Leary (which is not yet in article -- Brian must vet this first), his arrest during Days of Rage when the person paralyzed was not just a lawyer but an assistant state's attorney for the City of Chicago (needs clarification in article), and a couple of other things.
