Untitled[edit]

There should be disambiguation links for both Göta and Kristineberg. The one for Göta goes now to a page about a name, and the one for Kristineberg goes to a place in Stockholm. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ulfgeir (talkcontribs) 14:37, 23 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The scissors[edit]

Actually I think the scissors of the city arms are not sheep-shearing scissors but rather scissors for cutting metal (Swedish: plåtsaxar) and calling them sheep-shearing scissors is a popular misunderstanding. But today I don't have a source for that. Fomalhaut76 (talk) 00:35, 15 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The official blazon says: I rött fält två ullsaxar av silver, den högra störtad. I am not cabable to translate it into the odd heraldic English but "ullsax" means "wool scissors". So I think sheep-shearing scissors is correct. --Muniswede (talk) 08:34, 15 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
