Assessment of Article Draft[edit]

Revisions necessary. You have found an important filmmaker and done good research. Here are the things you must do before moving this material to mainspace.

  • Most important is to fix the grammar and punctuation – I encourage you to ask a native English speaker for help with this.
  • The text shouldn’t be bold
  • Change formatting of Awards section (perhaps as a table)
  • Make sure to get rights to the image (do the module)
  • Fix title of reference number 2 and put journal title in italics

Hi,

Overall, I enjoyed reading your article. It was interesting and I liked that you added an infobox. You have a strong lead section and I like the way you wrote the first paragraph in your Career section. Your article on Boo Ji-Young is easy to understand for the most part. There are a couple places that have similar/redundant information. You mention that she is best known for Cart in the lead and then later under Career. This is fine, but you should go more into detail about Cart in the Career section. You should also state why she was invited to the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival. If you have a date for when Boo created Myselves: The Actress No Makeup Project, then it should be included. Your Awards and Invitations section might be easier to read in a table. The section for her Early Life could use more information if you have it.

peer review[edit]

Overall your article is great! Your lead is good but it may be worth cutting back on information like where the films where shown and include that information in “career” instead. I fixed a few spelling/grammar errors (like capitalizing the title Cart). I also added the year after Myselves: The Actress No Makeup Project under the “career” section and changed “in 2014” to “from 2014” when Cart is introduced in the career section. Other than that your article is well structured and written. You give a lot of good information about her accomplishments and show her established film career. Good work! Good work on your article, if you can find more sources so you can add more prose that would be ideal. The lead is clear and the information is presented in a neutral manner. I made a few grammar changes and used her last name instead of her first name to address her in a more formal manner. You could add a section for external links to her IMDb, any interviews with Ji-Young, etc so people can find out more about her. Also people like to be able to click the titles of the movies to find more about them, so you could link them in the filmography section if available. Cue95 (talk) 23:18, 4 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
