Name change?[edit]

Multiple editors have been changing the name of the district from Bogra to Bogura. There have been vague mentions of a government edict, but nobody has provided a reliable source to document it yet.

So I'll ask bluntly: what's the source for the name change? —C.Fred (talk) 13:44, 3 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the move request was: page moved With the sources in place, this is not a controversial request; the history of attempted copy-and-paste moves at the new title was deleted, and the move was made. —C.Fred (talk) 22:11, 3 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Industry/Language[edit]

I have removed the 'Industry' section as it was replete with informal "gossip"-like prose and no sourcing. Additionally, the 'Language' section is similarly written and I'm not even sure it's relevant in its present form. It is unformatted and I do not want to even make an attempt at it. {{u|Abillionradios}} {Static} 03:33, 14 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Name Change[edit]

Why does the article title say Bogra but the article itself says that this spelling is inaccurate? Either the title is wrong or the article is wrong. There seems to a lot of pushback both on this page and the page for the city against changing the name, but no one saying that this article's claim that the name change is official should be modifed.
