Extreme clipper?[edit]
The content of the article calls into question that this ship was an extreme clipper: "...a full midship section designed for stowing a large cargo...". Hence I have tagged with a citation needed.
Note that Lubbock is not a suitable source for determining whether or not a vessel is an extreme clipper - there are demonstrable examples (identified by David R MacGregor) when Lubbock has categorised as extreme when a clipper is nothing of the kind. The consensus of MacGregor, Chapelle and Carl Cutler is that determination of whether a vessel is an extreme clipper is based on close examination of her lines. Fast performance is not sufficient.
