Looks like he's not, so I'll review it. My main problem, with the article is that the wording of the article is way too close to the sources. Obviously this is being cracked down on as plagiarism. Here are examples of what I mean:

  • Your article: "Kamin is part of a tradition of accessible but authoritative criticism begun by the Tribune's first modern-day architecture critic, Pulitzer Prize-winner Paul Gapp,"
  • Chicago Tribune: "and continues a tradition of accessible but authoritative criticism begun by the Tribune's first modern-day architecture critic, Pulitzer Prize-winner Paul Gapp."
  • Your article: "Kamin was part of a team of editors, writers, photographers and critics when Architectural Record won the 2003 National Magazine Award for General Excellence."
  • Chicago Tribune: "and was part of a team of editors, writers, photographers and critics for the magazine which in 2003 won the National Magazine Award for General Excellence."
  • Your article: "Among his other honors are the George Polk Award for Criticism (1996), the American Institute of Architects' Institute Honor for Collaborative Achievement (1999) and the AIA's Presidential Citation, conferred in 2004 in appreciation of the "rhapsodies and scoldings" that have brought architecture to the attention of Chicago's public."
  • Chicago Tribune: "Among his other honors are the George Polk Award for Criticism (1996), the American Institute of Architects' Institute Honor for Collaborative Achievement (1999) and the AIA's Presidential Citation, conferred in 2004 in appreciation of the "rhapsodies and scoldings" that have brought architecture to the attention of Chicago's public."

and that's only the one source I checked. Not only am I failing this article as a GA, but I urge you to fix this article ASAP, and with all due respect, be happy that all I'm doing is failing this rather than taking it to ANI or Jimbo, as I'm trusting you to fix this..
