Please review - is a subspecies extinct?[edit]

In the article on the genus Turdus, I see:

Cauca black-hooded thrush, Turdus olivater caucae - possibly extinct (late 20th century?)

Is T.o. caucae a subspecies? There isn't any other mention of T.o. caucae in en.wikipedia.org. I suppose this subspecies, and its conservation status, should be added to this article. Someone else should do this -- I'm not familiar with the sources. Oaklandguy (talk) 23:14, 3 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
