son of Late Dr. Mokhlish Uddin Chowdhury & Late Safia Khanom Chowdhury.

from- village Barokut,Gulapgonj,Sylhet.

Born-1940 Labok tea Garden, Asam, India.

present home-College Road,Srimangal,Moulovibazar. He completed his education from M.C College,Sylhet. Professionaly he was a tea planter.

Joins radio Pakistan in 1968 as singer. He was lyrist, singer, tuner, actor, cartoonist, wrtter, artist & social worker. He was the founder principal of Govt. Music institute "SONGIT NEKATON" of Srimangal & president of 'SHILPI SONGSTHA'. He introduced pure Sylhety language songs all over Bangladesh & foreign countries. He inspired freedom fighters by his writting & singing. And passes the news to garila fighters of srimangal sector at liberation war '71. After liberation he joins Bidith Lal Das group with Himangsu Biswas, Himangsu Ghushwami, Ram Kanai Das, Fozol Mahmud, Dulal Voumik, Giash Uddin, Jamal Uddin Hasan Banna, Subir Nondy & others

programmes- BTV ; Shilpokola Academy; Inter Bangladesh Music Conferance; Inter Bangladesh Betar Competition; London Festival of Bangladesh U.k; Sylhety programme at Rabindra Sodon Kolkata; Nikhil Bongo Sommelon Asam, Shilchor, Agortola. Their most rememberable programme on Sarwardy Uddan, most popular song 'SADHER LAU BANAILO MURAY BOIRAGY' (this song they first time introduces in Bangladesh,the 2nd & 3rd prelude) front of Bongobondhu 1973.
