Candidate for deletion[edit]

I see there is a banner on the page questioning whether Scher is notable individual. I don't think being a pundit (working for MSNBC and Politico) qualifies. It mostly reads like a cv/resume. Perplextase (talk) 01:02, 11 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Scher should be in Wikipedia[edit]

Bill Scher is politics editor of The Washington Monthly, a small but quite influential magazine based on all the policies it has recommended that eventually were adopted by government. Scher's contrarian views on many issues over many years make him worthy of inclusion in part because when new readers come across his work they can quickly get an appraisal of his past work. His contrarian views have had a significant impact on giving rigor to otherwise flabby political debates. -- David Cay Johnston Davidcay (talk) 15:28, 6 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
