Enough to mention All-Stars?[edit]

Leaving TMZ out of the initial mix some pretty big name sources usually used have written about it (TV Line, US Weekly, Cinema Blend, TV Fanatic). I believe at least two of those backed TMZ as their source BUT they don't usually go for the "jump on any rumor we can find" bandwagon. The larger of the four sources, TV Line and US Weekly are free of any mention of TMZ. Is it enough to say that All-Stars is being planned or at least talked about as a possible option for the season? TheDoctorWho (talk) 21:53, 22 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Alucard 16: just pinging you for your input. TheDoctorWho (talk) 21:54, 22 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@TheDoctorWho: I just saw this but I guess its a moot point now with the recent news. In general with TMZ I would say it shouldn't be used but in those cases then yeah it would be OK just as long as statements from TMZ are attributed to them as per WP:TMZ. Other countries' viewership[edit]

Is BBUS simulcast in any other countries ? Ugla'a (talk) 19:22, 24 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Most likely not I would say there is no news about other countries. Global has aired every BBUS season in simulcast with CBS so that one was expected. Alucard 16❯❯❯ chat? 20:20, 24 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Da'Vonne is before Dani and David alphabetically so she should be above Dani and David on the houseguests table and voting history chart 2A01:4C8:C65:DA31:DC26:3B50:FCE7:613C (talk) 01:10, 8 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Not done. Apostrophes are generally ignored when alphabetizing in English (e.g. canoe comes before can't) (not that it's clear what purpose the apostrophe is serving here, but that's another issue). –Deacon Vorbis (carbon • videos) 01:57, 8 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The TV Ratings[edit]

Can someone ping the person who is undoing my adding of the ratings for the episode? I added ratings but this person seems to always replace the ratings I add with ratings from Showbuzz Daily... Then after he undid my edit he left a comment.. Ugla'a (talk) 14:20, 12 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Some Dude From North Carolina: If I wasn't matching it with the episodes section why didn't you just match it for me instead of replacing it.. make it make sense...

Timeline[edit]

The timeline this season based on the episodes seem to count Thursday, August 6 as Day 1 inside the House with the premiere (Wednesday, August 5) not counted. This is similar to Big Brother Australia counting their live season premieres as Day 0 from seasons 4-11. We need to report factually and use the timeline based on episodes so the move in day should be considered Day 0 so that the houseguests, episode & voting history will match the timeline given in the episodes. Alucard 16❯❯❯ chat? 21:59, 14 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I have not seen this anywhere.. Please provide proof.Ugla'a (talk) 22:45, 14 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Episode 3 had the nomination ceremony on Day 2 and Julie during the live eviction episode said it was Day 8 in the House. Alucard 16❯❯❯ chat? 22:49, 14 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Ugla'a: The article shouldn't be contradicting the episodes themselves (i.e. Wikipedia shouldn't be saying Keesha was evicted Day 9 when Julie herself said it was Day 8.) See Episode 3 at 3:30 minutes in and Episode 4 at 2:40 minutes in for sources. Either Day 0 should be used for August 5 or Day 1 is expanded to include both August 5 and August 6 since Episode 2 labeled the move-in night as Day 1 at 2:40 minutes into the episode. Alucard 16❯❯❯ chat? 22:57, 14 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Well.. I suppose you're right... I wonder why they changed it ? Did BB21 use this system also..? Ugla'a (talk) 23:12, 14 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Ugla'a: I'm guessing it changed for this season only because they moved in late on August 5 so it really wasn't a "full" day in the house. With BB2-BB21 since those were pre-filmed premieres I believed they actually entered earlier in the day which is why the move-in day was Day 1 then the next day was Day 2, etc. The "two night premiere events" were actually all filmed within Day 1 they just had Julie change outfits for example. Alucard 16❯❯❯ chat? 23:25, 14 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Alucard 16: But the houseguests seem to think it's Day 10 (counting move-in day). So it is a very sticky situation for sure... I also noticed all big brother update/fansites call it Day 10... So it's very confusing.

Have Not Chain[edit]

Do you feel like the have not selection process should have some way to tell who picked who? Every Sunday night episode it gets featured and is a prominent event that takes place in the house. I thought assigning colors would be a simple way to show who picked who without going over the top with the edit but Sportsfan 1234 (talk) reverted it because he must have thought otherwise. I do strongly think there should be a simple way of showing the picking process. Bsems (talk) 04:44, 03 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I agree there should be some sort of chain, but not with color. That is against WP: ACCESS, as listed in my revert. Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 12:55, 3 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Mention Memphis mocking Ian controversy[edit]

Memphis and Dani made fun of Ian's rocking mechanism in the house this should be on the page bc it's relevant. Please add Nicole Franzel to the list of people who actively mocked Ian. Apparently, her name is gone in the article

It seems like someone deleted Nicole's name again... Is there any way to stop this from happening? We all saw the video of her laughing while Memphis mocked Ian so I don't understand why people keep deleting her name.

"Big Brother 22 cast members continue making fun of Ian Terry and his autism". monstersandcritics.com. September 9, 2020.</ref> [1][2] (talk) 05:24, 10 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I have returned Nicole to the primary mentions in the 1st sentence. Multiple sources have reported that she has not only lost current endorsement deals, but several that she has worked with in the past have indicated they will not do so in the future, over this. Zaathras (talk) 23:17, 18 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Editor82641:, I'm sure this edit to the talk page was some sort of mistake? Please be careful and don't remove the entire discussion sections. I also, again, reverted this edit to the article. Nicole is specifically mentioned in the source for mocking Ian's autism, she has lost endorsement deals because of this. It is sourced and relevant. Zaathras (talk) 00:53, 30 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Zaathras:I did not mean to remove it! My computer glitched, but I did not notice that it did that. Thanks for catching what got deleted, that was so unintentional! Editor82641 (talk) 01:21, 30 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Correction![edit]

Enzo is not a have-not in week 7!!! I watch live feeds. It is only Christmas (named by Da’vonne) and Cody (named by David) as have nots this week. Laker nation6 (talk) 18:27, 19 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Editing Page with Opinions or Wishes[edit]

While you may wish that something different happened, please refrain from editing the page to be inaccurate. Changing names to incorrect nicknames or changing nominations only harms others who use the page to get information on the season. Thanks! I know we all wish this season was different (cast and 'gameplay'), but let's still keep this page as accurate as possible.

Canadian Viewing Figures[edit]

There are only two episodes listed under Canada. Does someone know if only two aired there or does that section need to be added to? I know some countries do not have access to all shows, but I was not sure if Canada is actually not getting any other episodes.

It has aired all episodes in Canada. The viewership can be found here: http://en.numeris.ca/media-and-events/tv-weekly-top-30 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.67.113.87 (talk) 18:03, 2 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Seconded. The vandalism was also reported on the page "Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism". Please lock page or block users that have been reported. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Editor82641 (talkcontribs) 20:10, 29 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Tyeler's controversy surrounding Black Lives Matter[edit]

In the same way as the houseguest's mocking Ian's autism made the news, so did Tyler's potential usage of BLM to move forward in the game yet it is not in the controversy and criticism section. Now that he has been evicted and more articles such as this one are coming out, it seems odd that it has not been mentioned on the wiki. I don't mind writing it up, but just wanted to check if there was a reason it hasn't been done before doing so. 2001:268:C01E:3EF1:A01A:16:5F7C:276B (talk) 05:48, 12 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I'd like to propose a new "Voting History" table[edit]

I think that the Voting History table is a little bit confusing with the tons of colors and the information in scattered everywhere, so I took the idea from the voting history tables from Survivor, specifically adding the vote count as Julie also says them ("7-2," as an example) and specifying who was evicted in which week and in which day right in the beginning. Also, although I understand the importance of powers, such as the Veto, Safety Suite and whatnot, but at the end of the week, if you're safe, you're safe and are in the voting pool, so I left whoever's in it without any color, to make a distinction between the HOH and the two nominees, who are not allowed to vote, as Julie states before every vote.

This is the one that I made. Freddy7GL (talk) 18:21, 5 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
