The claims of color accuracy are only valid for stationary subjects. The sensor uses 3 individually filtered sensor bars for RGB. These are offset, so the capture of each component of color information for a given line takes place at a different time. The sensor does not use spatial interpolation, but it does use temporal interpolation. This can often lead to extreme chromatic aberration - eg. the car at the bottom of this image (1/4 of the way from the left-hand side) http://www.betterlight.com/zoomify/zoom_tenaya06.html .
