This page should not be speedy deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement, because both pages are based on the life of Benjamin Sachs so they will both have similar facts. The Harvard site is a short bio. The wikipedia page goes into more detail of Sachs career highlighting his contributions to labor law. The two pages are not the same and are not copied. This is not an accurate accusation.

This page should not be speedy deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement, because the very basic biographical information is hard to write differently and the material is not copyright protected. OK, it says at Sachs's website that Benjamin Sachs "is the Kestnbaum Professor of Labor and Industry at Harvard Law School." Well, that is what he is. Sure, we can struggle to re-word this and a few other snippets of biographical information. But the article contains original information and properly cited material. It is not from press releases, and it clearly reports controversies about the professor's work. I will re-word some of this, add documentation, and remove any superlative that could be even remotely accused of being from a press release. Wikipedia has failed to provide a biography of a significant law professor, and the editors should be trying harder to rectify this, rather than trying to destroy this detailed biography.

This page should not be speedily deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement, because I have changed the language of biographical information that has been flagged for being too close to the subject's CV and official biographical details (which incidentally is not copyright protected as claimed by the critic of this entry, and it is hard to re-word official titles and appointments). I have added several references and strengthened the documentation in response to your criticism.

It is sad that Wikipedia has failed to provide a biography of this scholar, and this latest, significantly revised version should meet the needs and standards of Wikipedia. Please see that we have met your criteria, and do not destroy what is a valuable entry. Kindly take down the harsh warning statement.

This page should not be speedy deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement, because the material has appeared in the public domain many, mamy times and on documents of public organizations who have not placed copyright restrictions on it. Just because Harvard slaps a generic Copyright and All Rights Reserved notice does not remove very basic biographical material from the public domain. But more importantly, we have re-worded the sentences that you flagged and have improved the entry. Even Wikipedia claims that you can use the information from a copyrighted site. We cannot re-word official titles of people. Sorry, Wikipedia. You do not have the right to take away a person's title because you see it at a copyright site. Again it is a disgrace that Wikipedia editors claim someone is of no significance because they personally have not heard of a professor. You are being very unfair to Professor Sachs and many other significant people who still lack Wikipedia bios because of the limits of expertise among your editorial community. The article is not a cheerleading article. It contains two major criticisms of his work. Meanwhile, this afternoon we will add more documentation and new sources of documentation to meet your latest efforts to block this biography. I have addressed your many concerns, re-worded sentences, and provided significant additional documentation. And stop the Wikipedia claims that someone is not important because you personally and your Wikipedia friends testify not to have heard of them. And stop saying it is a PR promotion. I fixed all of the sections that you complained about, provided loads of documentation, and re-wrote it in a way that would not violate copyright by even the most stringent standards. After my contributing many hours of labor to meet your demands, you have still taken down this page. It shows that you did not read the final version, engage with the considerable number of revisions, and make any serious effort to give this entry a chance. Now I see why many people quit helping Wikipedia, and it confirms the worst behavior of your community as shown in Dariusz Jemielniak's excellent new book Common Knowledge: An Ethnography of Wikipedia.
