Location[edit]

The location map can't possibly be correct: Bel Air is located in the Port-au-Prince Arrondissement, that is, in the Ouest department, thus not in the Sud department, as is shown on the map. Belgian man (talk) 17:14, 20 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Note that Chéry is also a common last name in Haiti. This neighborhood may have been named after a person. "Ti" means "little". --- Aliceba (talk) 11:40, 19 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

One-sided[edit]

I'm a little dismayed that a whole article can be written on this neighborhood, reducing it to statistics about "crime" and ignoring its long history or its artistic community. I just added a bit about its actual history for that reason. Aliceba (talk) 10:44, 19 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I agree and a lot of these pages are. My guess is that after the earthquake, there might have been a bit more activity in regards to Haiti in general but highlighting the negatives. Savvyjack23 (talk) 14:27, 19 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately that's the way it is. Afghanistan and Iraqi districts and villages suffer from the same bias. Otherwise these places wouldn't be documented much in English.♦ Dr. Blofeld 12:09, 20 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
