Redirect war[edit]
For anyone who didn't see my edit summary, I have procedurally restored the article. This is not an endorsement of having an article, but the relevant policy considerations are perfectly clear on how to handle these disputes. WP:RfD makes it clear that converting a redirect to an article does not require an advanced discussion and that doing so is "wholly encouraged" per WP:BOLD. Conversely, both the redirection guideline and the deletion policy are unambiguous in stating that if there is disagreement over a "blank and redirect", the article can be restored due to the fact that it has not been formally deleted, and that a formal dispute resolution measure such as an AfD or an RfC should then be used to resolve the dispute. This should not rise to the level of controversy, a single formal proposal to redirect via RfC or AfD will resolve this issue indefinitely. Swarm ♠ 01:22, 11 August 2018 (UTC)
