@Richard3120: I'm assuming that the tag was added because of the content sourced to ChartsInFrance, yes? I believe I did it that way because it was included in the fr.wikipedia article, but I agree that better sourcing should be found. If that's fixed, do you think the rest of the article would be okay? Or is there a different issue with the sourcing that you identified? Thanks, Clovermoss (talk) 06:15, 16 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Clovermoss: actually, it was related more to the fact that there article doesn't say much more than "the song was released, it charted in France and Belgium"... it could do with some more text regarding the background of the song, promotional appearances, etc. I realise that it may not be easy to find this information at the moment. But if you want to remove the tag, go ahead, I won't object – I know there are plenty of song articles with less information than this one. I just wanted to point out that I wouldn't consider this article "finished" and there should be scope for expansion. Richard3120 (talk) 12:36, 16 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Richard3120: I have limited experience with writing music articles so I've always felt awkward trying to expand them beyond something like this. Thanks for the suggestions, I'll see what I can do. As for sourcing, since I've realized the ChartsInFrance sourcing isn't that great, I'd likely try to fix that before removing the additional citations tag. Since expansion is more of the issue, would identifying it as a 2010s pop song stub be a better option if I can't fix that? There's a backlog of 153,000 articles with the former tag so it'd look likely be awhile before someone else comes along and see this apart from me, but the latter has 351 pages so it would have more visibility. Those are reasonable suggestions, yes – as I said, there are plenty of song articles worse than this one. I actually think that the internet has made it more difficult, not easier, to expand most song articles... before, there were music magazines writing about songs and albums, the artist would do interviews talking about the song... no, the magazines have mostly disappeared, so have the TV shows that the artists performed on, and they just upload their music videos onto websites and social media and that's it, almost no explanation or details about the song. @Richard3120: Finally got around to doing something. I work full-time so sometimes it takes awhile to get around to doing things online. I replaced the ChartsInFrance source with Ouest-France. I added song-stub for now because it's near-midnight for me and expansion is more of the issue, but I'll keep an eye out for sources in the future and try to expand it myself sometime. I think I have a better chance at that in this case than most people because I understand French. Clovermoss (talk) 04:11, 25 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

GNG[edit]

Following up on my promise here. I think this article likely passes GNG through these sources and not just relying on the music chart placement: [1][2][3]. Therefore I think this article can exist as seperate and not just be a redirect to the album. Clovermoss🍀 (talk) 12:45, 20 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
