Source Mullié[edit]

The template {{Cite Mullié}} had "Battle of Loano" as its article title. However because Mullié wrote a dictionary of biographies, that can not be the title. So went an looked at the history of the article on fr:Bataille de Loano and most of the original article was clearly a copy from somewhere. So looked for sentence in that article to search for on fr:Wikisource and used "Qu'importe, dit un vieux grenadier, demain l’ennemi se chargera de la fourniture." (a sentence that sill appears in the footnotes of the current French article). It matches to the biography of MASSÉNA (ANDRE) so that is what I have included in the article. See:

  • Mullié, Charles (1852). "MASSÉNA (ANDRE)" . Biographie des célébrités militaires des armées de terre et de mer de 1789 à 1850  (in French). Paris: Poignavant et Compagnie. pp. 273–275.

Uncited[edit]

When I started to update this article on 22 September 2023, there were four citations. However, at least 75% of the text was not cited. I plan to rewrite, expand, add sources, and cite this article in order to bring it up to B class. Djmaschek (talk) 03:30, 22 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
