As it stands (Dec 1, 2005), this account is written entirely from the perspective of the British. While scarcity of sources makes it a little difficult to write this from a neutral point of view, it seems rather necessary to warn the reader about the perspective taken; hence the sentence added in the first paragraph. Gingindlovu[edit]

Why does Gingindlovu redirect here? Gingindlovu is the name of a town where I think the battle took place. Bezuidenhout (talk) 15:09, 17 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Correcting The Article[edit]

I've noticed that some of the descriptions of the battle do not match any of the listed sources, so I've begun to correct and enhance the article using a detailed source, Ian Knight and Ian Castle's 1994 book Fearful Hard Times: The Siege and Relief of Eshowe, 1879.
