Comment[edit]

In Southern California this is a well-known unusual institution (being outdoors, because of the California climate - shelves out in the open air), as well as the "honesty" study by the news media, and I figured if you can have an institution like Powell's Bookstore in Portland on Wikipedia, you could certainly have Bart's. It's a big tourist attraction, and when Los Angeles people hear about Ojai they will a lot of times say, "That's the place with the big outdoor bookshop, isn't it?" —Preceding unsigned comment added by Timeportal (talkcontribs) 00:03, 18 December 2007 An often asked question to the employees is, "What do you do when it rains?" Their answer is, "Nothing. We just keep working." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.123.244.190 (talk) 22:19, 18 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
