cycle[edit]

In addition, the game also repeats its cycle around level 60 or so, with robbers and customers arriving in a predicatable order, but I didn't know how to explain this and frankly I'm a little sheepish about how much of my youth I wasted playing this rather lame game. Was this a lightgun game in the arcades? I'm amazed that no console port of it uses a lightgun, as it is incredibly frustrating to play on a 2-button controller. boffy_b 10:28, 10 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Nope. Three buttons to shoot left, center and right, noted by the small white squares. Lightgun games like Hogan's Alley and Duck Hunt came out later. BryanEkers 12:00, 10 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

West Bank[edit]

I have played West Bank on ZX Spectrum (and its PC remake). I can confirm that it is quite a different game: some features from Bank Panic (as listed in the article, and in a Game FAQ manual as well) are missing in West Bank; most importantly, you can't shoot a robber until after he draws a gun on you, or else you'll lose a life. It's more a clone than a straight port. - Mike Rosoft (talk) 07:00, 24 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
