Unexplained term

Wikipedia articles should be written that nonspecialists can understand them. That includes not using technical terms without defining or linking them. This article has the term 40‡ with no explanation. What does 40‡ mean? 87.247.60.128 (talk) 12:33, 18 November 2017 (UTC)

Apparently, it’s the recruit's ‘40 yard dash time’. As it was shown as ‘NA’ - not applicable - in the table, I’ve suppressed it. --Malcolmxl5 (talk) 12:50, 18 November 2017 (UTC)

Page needs to be edited more often

I can not access his page but I'm a huge fan and know a lot about him and in his career highlights they need to put that he has won three big 12 player of the year because he just won this years AustinD1186 (talk) 03:29, 1 December 2017 (UTC)

Rule section

I've removed a sentence in the rule section that was not accurate. The NCAA waiver for non-scholarship non-recruited athletes didn't apply to Mayfield as he did not meet their definition of non-recruited, hence the denied appeal by the NCAA. The sentence implies otherwise and thus has been removed. Falcon8765 (TALK) 20:34, 3 September 2016 (UTC)

Can u update his college career section I cannot access it when will it not be protected AustinDiddy58 (talk) 07:06, 10 December 2017 (UTC)

In the section entitled "Oklahoma" there are two spelling errors that need correcting. "with the return of the Big 12 championship game after a 6 year hiatus Mayfield led Oklahoma too their third straight Big 12 championship with Oklahoma beating the TCU Hornfrogs 41-17 in the championship game..." The corrections should read "to their third" and "TCU Horned Frogs" JSGoldy (talk) 06:29, 13 December 2017 (UTC)

Baker Mayfield left Texas Tech prior to the Holiday Bowl in 2013 and it should not be listed on his page. 40.139.190.212 (talk) 19:00, 12 January 2018 (UTC)

Done per this source. Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 21:04, 12 January 2018 (UTC)

Added assessment for WP:Oklahoma

Assessment is now comparable with other WPs for Mayfield. Bruin2 (talk) 02:42, 2 May 2018 (UTC)

Arrest

Why the hell is there a whole section about his arrest? Seriously that should be under personal life. It’s slander is what it is. Roth64 (talk) 13:00, 11 July 2018 (UTC)

Madden

He lost me a game on madden because he is so inaccurate. Jaden125 (talk) 07:48, 12 January 2021 (UTC)
