plagiarism? and who is Mr. Bacon?[edit]

Found this page looking for a different Mr. Bacon. This article's use of the phrase "Mr. Bacon" makes me suspect plagiarism (cited links not working?), but even if not, the use of "Mr. Bacon" is confusing in an article about multiple men with the surname Bacon. In this article, "Mr. Bacon" seems to refer to "James Bacon", but as that name only appears once, the article needs to clarify if this is another name for Jamie Bacon or some other individual.

See Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Abbreviations#Contractions, MOS:SURNAME, and MOS:SAMESURNAME; however, i'm temporarily leaving "Mr. Bacon" and "James Bacon" in case they help someone track down a plagiarized source.

You're probably right. There is a recurring problem with Lower Mainland-related crime articles as some IP from Vancouver and another one from Texas (maybe the same person?) keeps cutting and pasting from articles from The Vancouver Sun and The Vancouver Province without attribution. This is probably just another case of this. --A.S. Brown (talk) 09:35, 20 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
