The Game or Elimination Chart[edit]

I think we should decide on one chart to keep. Having both seems pretty repetitive. When I added the one called The Game, I used the Survivor model as a guide, as the Bachelor Pad method of play and elimination more closely resembles that than The Bachelor. If the majority wishes to continue with the Elimination Chart though, that's cool, but I think we should remove whichever one most people like least. Thoughts? By the way, of course I won't post any spoilers, but from what I've read (Google "Reality Steve" if you're curious), the Elimination Chart may not adequately reflect some of the situations that are rumoured to come up in future episodes. Caben42 (talk) 22:01, 10 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Let's leave them both in use as a holding pattern and make a decision when the season has concluded. We will have a better idea of what to include and what to scrap (if necessary).Guiltlessgecko (talk) 19:05, 12 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

WP:MOSCOLOR Violation[edit]

The Elimination chart currently violates WP:MOSCOLOR. There is no text, just colouring which makes it impossible to be parsed by the colour blind. It is okay to augment information with colouring, but it should not be the only means of communicating the information. Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 14:10, 11 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I gave your comment a separate section, as it was not really related to the The Game or Elimination Chart decision. Thank you for bringing the violation to light and I have modified the chart to bring it into compliance. In the future, please don't be shy about simply making a necessary edit in cases where making the change would take about the same amount of time as posting that the change is needed. I don't watch the show, so I don't feel as though I could accurately change this content. Thank you for modifying it. Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 14:26, 12 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Fair enough. :) I didn't expect anyone other than those interested in the show would end up at the article. Thanks again for mentioning the problem. Caben42 (talk) 23:48, 12 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Evidently, some people have a bee in their bonnet and run around looking for issues to be upset about. BlueRobe (talk) 12:20, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Evidently, some people read articles on WP to learn about a subject with which they are not familiar. I'm not sure why you felt the need to make such a comment. By the way, it still violates WP:MOSCOLOR, as there is no way to distinguish between the three different "Out" and "Last" variants. One solution would be to create a section with episode summaries in prose format. Just be thankful that you aren't colourblind as well. Thank you. Consistent Format of Numbers[edit]

For the sake of consistency regarding the format used for numbers, I have changed the sentence, "The show stars 11 women and eight men...", to, "The show stars eleven women and eight men...". If anyone has a problem with this change, they have more than one problem. BlueRobe (talk) 12:26, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that once and meant to make the same fix. I guess it slipped my mind. Nice catch. Caben42 (talk) 00:38, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. Believe it or not, I half expected my editorial change to be reverted. Some (read: the overwhelming majority) of Wikipaedia authors can be unbelievably precious about their pages, lol. Thanx for being nice about it. BlueRobe (talk) 01:03, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, no worries. I just hope you're not talking about me. I may have started the page, but I don't think I'm one of those people. :) If someone wants to write an article that no one else can edit, they should create a web page, not a Wikipedia article. LOL Caben42 (talk) 01:32, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I definitely wasn't referring to you. And I love your philosophy about editing Wikipaedia pages. I think I may have to steal that and use it in the future, lol. BlueRobe (talk) 01:45, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Cool. Just be sure to CC me on all the flame wars it (hopefully) ends... or (more likely) starts. haha Caben42 (talk) 02:12, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Votes[edit]

Does anyone know how each person on the previous seasons voted to win? I searched the web and couldn't find anything. Adding their votes keeps a record of this history just in case and most accurately shows how the winners won. (CCamp2013 (talk) 06:45, 11 September 2012 (UTC))[reply]
