Parents[edit]

Anyone know anything more about his parents... does he have a good relationship with them, because they're never on the show and he was having money problems and didn't ask them for help.

Lyric?[edit]

Does anyone know if Lyric has a middle name? Just wondering. User:MgHoneyBee Mar.23,2006

The middle name is Lennon--I am a member (by marriage) of the family and that's how I know this.65.95.50.49 (talk) 15:06, 29 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Is ashley's middle name "Word" or "Lennon"? Just wondering —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.67.253.203 (talk) 01:36, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Disputing the neutrality of this article[edit]

The line 'He also enjoys spreading bastard children throughout the country' seems a bit presumptuous to me. Is this supposed to be humurous? It may be true, I don't know. But it seems out of place within this artcile.

Copyrighted image[edit]

An anonymous user from various AOL IP addresses has been changing the free image of Ashley Parker Angel and replacing it with a copyrighted promotional photo. Please read Wikipedia's fair use criteria to see why the image was deleted; the image is replaceable with a free image, and one of Wikipedia's five pillars is to contain free content. If you disagree that the image should have been deleted or that it does not belong in the article, I invite you to explain so here. —ShadowHalo 06:21, 28 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That image existed on this article for MONTHS without any problem, and then out of nowhere here you come wagging your finger like an uptight old schoolmarm. The "free" picture you came up with for a substitute is tacky and not as good an image of Parker. Now I see that the image to his album cover has be "deleted" too. Hmm. You wouldn't happen to know anything about that, would you? Uptight sticklers like you make Wikipedia a MUCH less pleasent contributors environment. 172.144.35.205 02:44, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You're right; the copyrighted image is a more flattering picture of him. However, the other image was in violation of the first of Wikipedia's fair use criteria and nobody noticed or cared for quite awhile. As far as the album cover, I had nothing to do with that. You can see at the file log that the image was tagged by someone for not having a fair use rationale, sat a week without anyone adding one, and was deleted by User:Shyam Bihari for not having a fair use rationale. I don't know who originally tagged it, but Shyam Bihari may be able to see if it's really that much of an issue. The image can be reuploaded so long as there is a fair use rationale provided. —ShadowHalo 03:42, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Obviously my objective is not to make sure the picture of him is unflattering. If you think that any pictures of Angel here would be better in the article, I'd be happy to crop it, upload it to the Wikimedia Commons, and add it to the article (I believe all of the pictures here are available under free licenses). —ShadowHalo 04:11, 30 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Can someone reputable please review the following lines from Ashley's entry and remove them?

[removed per wp:blp; these lines are not part of the article at this time. Cmprince (talk) 16:33, 26 May 2008 (UTC)][reply]

First cleanup attempt[edit]

This article was utterly littered with unverifiable POV language and original research. I've made a first pass at removing it and identifying unsourced claims. --Neurophyre(talk) 19:22, 11 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

And here is the diff of my changes for those who may be interested. --Neurophyre(talk) 19:25, 11 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

In consultation with some family members, I've edited (just factually) the last two sections of the article in Word, so I didn't keep track of each individual change. 74.12.74.58 (talk) 16:25, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think by wholesalely substituting my copyedited paragraphs, I may have deleted some others' material. That wasn't my intention, so if the material is put back in I will confine myself to copyediting. In future I will edit bit by bit so it is more easily tracked and there is less danger of deleting good information. 8OYscLu9 (talk) 15:47, 15 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Immediate correction needed[edit]

The talk page connected with Ashley R. Parker, Journalist, is not the talk page about the Ashley Parker (journalist) article. MaynardClark (talk) 22:52, 26 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
