CSD A7 does not apply here, as the article stub states the cultural significance of the article's subject, please remove sd tag. Btw, I'd say if we can have an article on Old Bay seasoning, we can have one about a similar product, sold on more continents, in more countries, and of nearly equal age since introduction.

Origin[edit]

I have recently met a German-spoken Swiss who claimed that aromat is of Swiss origin. Anyone who can verify this?

2010-12-11 Lena Synnerholm, Märsta, Sweden.

That's right, it was created by Knorr in Thayngen. There is an article (but in French) on the website of Culinary Heritage of Switzerland. --Momotaro (talk) 13:42, 11 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Availability in different regions[edit]

I've added commentary about the different formulations sold in different parts of the world. Primarily this is about clarifying that what is widely seen to be a generic product is actually a much broader set of condiments across the world. This was directly sourced from the nutritional guidance on condiments obtained from different markets. I will try to put up pictures.

I read the article that Momotaro linked to in Aug 2012 and it does state that Knorr do not reveal the production methods. In that context taking nutritional information directly from the product labelling seems a fair approach. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.194.74.1 (talk) 16:40, 15 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
