"three different Trek series" -- I was surprised to see De Kelly on this list, since I'm only aware of his roles in TOS and TNG. Are the movies being counted as a second series?--SarekOfVulcan 21:30, 21 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Yeah, I'm pretty certain that line is slightly wide of the mark:

  • Shimerman played Quark in DS9, and in a TNG-DS9 crossover, and the Voy pilot.
  • Frakes played Will Riker in TNG and a one-off in Voyager, BUT his appearance in DS9 was only, as far as I remember, as TOM Riker - Will's doppelganger featured in a TNG episode. I guess maybe the real Riker appeared as well?
--- Frakes played Will Riker in the last episode of Enterprise. - Malimar
  • John DeLancie is ok
  • DeForest Kelley - technically right, as he featured in TOS, the TNG pilot, and in the DS9 episode Trials and Tribbleations, although that was old TOS footage so IMO it's kind of borderline - technically, he didn't actually act in the episode
  • James Dohaan - Scotty was in TOS and one episode of TNG, and the DS9 episode above
  • Not sure about Michael Ansara and Richard Poe

I'll give this a couple of days, and then I'm going to edit out the Frakes mention. pomegranate 16:30, Jan 1, 2005 (UTC)

By the arguments above for Kelly & Doohan, Leonard Nimoy should also be on this list because of his appearance as Spock in the TNG two parter Unification, although I'm also sceptical about whether the DS9 appearance counts as a proper appearance, is acreditation on imdb enough? Randomly scanning I also found that the DS9 character Morn the barfly also appeared in the TNG episode Birthright, Part I, and the Voyager pilot, so may also want to add Mark Alan Shepherd to the list although this is dubious on two counts, 1) Morn never really says anything, 2) not actually credited for an appearance in Birthright by either imdb or the official trek site, (I seem to remember the official TNG ep guide book mentioning what Morn was doing in this ep but don't have with me so can't confirm). I'll leave edit for the time being, anyone more confident Morn deserves to be in the list can feel free to add him. -- Anon User, 04:12, Feb 17, 2005

Didn't Armin Shimerman also make an appearance in the film What the Bleep Do We Know? Unless I'm mistaken, that may deserve a mention. -Mana

Dead and Deader

He's an MD along with his fellow Star Trek stalwart, the guy who play Phlox. Him and Dean Cain —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 81.154.45.145 (talk) 03:02, 24 December 2006 (UTC).

"Before Star Trek, Armin Shimerman was well known as Pascal on Beauty and the Beast and as Principal Snyder in Buffy the Vampire Slayer"

Someone may want to check this, I'm sure Ds9 was around way before Buffy. Im sure Ds9 was early 90s and Buffy was late 90s. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sejj (talkcontribs) 15:35, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

New Table: Television

Could someone start to create a table outlining his television appearances. Right now, they are all summed up in paragraphs of text. A table is more skimmable. Btw, he was also in the [[Warehouse 13] episode "Where and when". [1] —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.44.112.108 (talk) 20:38, 7 December 2010 (UTC)

The TV section is also missing that Armin Shimerman was Augustin Gaither / Tommy Walker in the Scifi channel series, "The Invisible Man" 70.91.188.49 (talk) 15:33, 3 February 2011 (UTC)

Shimmerman also played a forensic scientist on Cagney and Lacey. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.214.200.8 (talk) 15:05, 21 March 2012 (UTC)
