Why no article on the best of the lot?[edit]

Monreale Cathedral redirects to the article about the town. The building needs its own article, surely. Carbon Caryatid (talk) 19:39, 1 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I think the same thing, it's absurd. The article dedicated to the Monreale Cathedral is already available in 14 languages. Just yesterday i created the english article, but another user wiped out everything for a supposed copyvio (actually, i mentioned the references). Waldgang (talk) 11:03, 2 Jenuary 2017 (UTC+1)
How frustrating. Over-enthusiastic deletion is a real nuisance, and puts off new editors. If you followed the rules, then surely that person broke them; if you made a mistake, then the healthiest outcome for the encyclopedia is for that person to tell you where you erred, and take action to save the article. And once an article has been deleted, it's that much harder to re-create it. What's the next step? Carbon Caryatid (talk) 14:27, 2 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Now i want to create other articles about Palermo (a lot of things are missing), but it's important to close the "Monreale gap". Waldgang (talk) 11:50, 4 Jenuary 2017 (UTC+1)
I commend your enthusiasm, and will help improve the articles, but won't create them. I suggest that, if in doubt, you start with WP:HELP. Carbon Caryatid (talk) 17:40, 4 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
