Not a BLP any more[edit]

April died last Thanksgiving (as stated in the article itself). I'm a little mystified by the syntax of the WPBiography template, so I won't touch it, but could someone who understands it do the honors? · rodii · 02:07, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Marriage[edit]

Despite claims made by a fan, April Lawton was not legally married. FreddieBrooklyn (talk) 04:32, 9 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Transsexual rumor[edit]

I'm not sure if the transsexual rumor should be credit as legitimate, because it came from a woman who have never met in person Mrs Lawton... As Mrs Millingoton say on the interview "We've had a couple of conversations as I really wanted to meet her but she was in Long Island and I was on the road .. I got her phone number and called her, we really liked each other a lot and enjoyed those chats." FernandoElDuarte (talk) 23:42, 6 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Mrs Lawton? Lawton was never legally married. The transsexuality is not a rumour. I personally know the bass player in a 1960s Long Island rock band who showed me photographs of April Lawton before her sex change operation. He confirmed with me that April Lawton was known as Gregory Ferrara. They were both formerly students at Farmingdale High School and recorded a number of songs with their band The Crescent Six, and a number of songs those songs are still copyrighted under the name Gregory Ferrara. April Lawton was raised In Farmingdale, New York but was born as Gregory Ferrara. The sex change was performed sometime approximately between 1966 and 1968. I know, I grew up approximately 5 houses away. Gregory was clearly still male in the mid-sixties as he use to sit on his parents stoop playing his guitar and singing. Gregory was raised by his mother and father. His father Frank was a NYC cop and mother Susan was a housekeeper. He had 2 siblings, younger brother Frank, also a NYC cop and younger sister Susan.
