Proposed Move[edit]

I propose the page be moved to Anita Hill (pastor). Any thoughts? Rob Church Talk | Desk 01:53, 27 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Rev Hill herself identifies as "Anita C. Hill" in order to distinguish herself from Anita Hill. I think the current names are fine and the 1st paragraph of each article clearly distinguishes the two. EdwinHJ | Talk 02:04, 27 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]
What people identify themselves as doesn't necessarily govern what the Wikipedia identifies them as. It's generally considered better to go for the simpler form of the name. Rob Church Talk | Desk 02:06, 27 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Anita C. Hill is MUCH SIMPLER than a parenthetical title "( )", which should be avoided at all costs. EdwinHJ | Talk 02:08, 27 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Unsourced material[edit]

Moving unsourced material here. Megalibrarygirl (talk) 23:37, 23 October 2017 (UTC) Hill served as regional director of ReconclingWorks: Lutherans for Full Participation (www.reconcilingworks.org), an organization that works with Lutheran congregations in Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota from 2012-2015. Hill served as pastor at Saint Paul-Reformation Lutheran Church in Saint Paul, Minnesota, (United States) from 1983 to 2012. Her ordination is now recognized by the ELCA. Hill is a lesbian in a committed relationship, and ELCA guidelines no longer require celibacy from "ministers who self-identify as homosexuals."[reply]

Have added some of this, sourced to R-W's own website which seems a RS for straight facts. PamD 09:36, 24 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
