Merge proposal[edit]

  • Oppose – I have asked the anonymous user who proposed this merge, User:69.182.78.104, to further explain his rationale here. The Fallen is a notable character, the article has adequate context, and I feel it does not need to be merged at this time. It may need to be expanded and/or cleaned up, which is now on my TODO list. I plan on getting to it in the next few months, seeing as I'm spending less time at work and may be able to bust out the Mutant X issues. — Madman bum and angel (talkdesk) 04:25, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Merge The Fallen (comics) should be merged into the main page as the character is only a different version of Angel (Marvel Comics). Mutant X characters should be categorized the same way that Ultimate characters are. All versions of Warren Worthington III should be included in the same article as they are only variations of the same character. If this makes the page too long, a companion page for all alternate versions should be created similar to what Wolverine (comics) has with Alternate versions of Wolverine 69.182.78.104 05:35, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

After two months of no additional discussion, I propose that discussion close with no consensus.66.109.248.114

Sexuality[edit]

I am removing Category:LGBT characters in comics because there doesn't seem to be any indication in the article that he has ever been presented as gay or bisexual. If he has, by all means add a sourced reference into the article, and restore the category. TAnthony 21:52, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I actually agree since it was only added because of an alternate version of Angel. The 1604 version being attracted to Jean/John Grey more as a male than as a female. RIANZ 22:20, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Angelw.jpg[edit]

Image:Angelw.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 06:17, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
