Edited the trivia section about the character being Israeli, it was redundant as the ethnic origin was already listed for him in the article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.106.48.41 (talkcontribs)

Height[edit]

Interesting to see that Andy is shorter in GSD than he is in GS. Did he loose both his legs in the war too and we didn't know about it? Doubtful. It leaves me to conclude that the stats on all the characters pages are revesed of fabricated. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Neovu79 (talkcontribs)

Clear Homage?![edit]

The article says his nickname 'Desert Tiger' is "a clear homage to Erwin Rommel, the 'Desert Fox'". This is so obviously made up, it should be taken off. It's opinion, and the only basis is because they both have the word 'Desert' in them and are involved in battle. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.231.44.203 (talkcontribs)

Erwin Rommel also waged his campaign in North Africa as does Andrew Waltfeld. - Blake —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.224.70.173 (talkcontribs)
Rommel was also noted for his humane and chivalrous treatment of civilians. It's fairly obvious that Waltfeld is based off of Rommel. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.105.46.252 (talk) 17:34, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Erwin Rommel also fought at El Alamein, so i would say that its a good possibility that he is a homage to him. Codeman177 (talk) 01:58, 1 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
