Fair use images[edit]

My understand and experience with fair use images of book and album covers are that they can only be used on articles that describe these items, or as the template says to illustrate an article discussing the book in question. Btw, it should be low resolution, such as width 200px.

He is one of most well-published designer of role playing games in Sweden and has had a leading role in the production of most of them, including classical titles such as Drakar och Demoner and Mutant. Between 2002 and 2006 he was editor in chief of Strålskyddnytt, the official newspaper of the Swedish Radiation Safety Authority.

Anders Blixt grew up in Gothenburg and became an active member of its gaming community in the 1970s. After completing military service in 1980, he left for Lund University where he obtained a degree in political science. He made his designer debut in 1980 by writing Traveller (role playing game) articles for GDW's magazine The Journal of Travellers' Aid Society.

In 1985-89, he worked full time for Target Games—in those years the biggest RPG manufacturer in Europe (however defunct since the mid 1990s). He conceived, wrote or edited in-house products such as Drakar och Demoner, Mutant and the Swedish translations of Chill, Middle-earth Role Playing and Star Wars RPG.

In the 1990s, Blixt switched to journalism and technical writing, but freelanced for, among others, Iron Crown Enterprises — co-writing and developing three MERP books (Kin-Strife and the two Southern Gondor books), and the Europe sourcebook for Cyberspace — and for several small Swedish game producers.

In 1997, he, together with Tove & Anders Gillbring and Åke Rosenius, launched the Sverox gaming magazine for SVEROK (the Swedish national federation of gaming clubs).

Blixt has acquired a widespread reputation writing for solid products among Swedish gamers, being seen as one of the "Ents" on the domestic RPG scene. He currently is employed as a press officer at a European Union mission in Afghanistan.

This gutting made the article an piece of uninformative crap that doesn't even say what games he designed, even though the sources cited list them; even in Swedish I can tell that much. Amusing to note that my humble self has become a bone of contention. I would like to point out that I have also published several professional RPG products in the United States, for instance The Kin-strife and the two Southern Gondor modules for MERP, CyberEurope for Iron Crown's Cyberspace and numerous article in GDW's magazines Journal of Traveller's Aid Society and Challenge. Does EVERY sentence need a reference? Could any of the removed material be in any way offensive or damaging to Anders? Could you, Ikip, provide a reference to a policy to support removal of ANY information that is not directly referenced? / Fred-J 19:18, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
What kind of references would be required? (Since the ICE and GDW stuff is long out of print and both campanies, as well as my Swedish RPG employer, are defunct, good references may prove a bit difficult to obtain.) Anders himself 87.96.182.176 (talk) 20:09, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Anders: I think if you created a web site called "Anders Blixt official website" and has a biography section, it could be used as a reference. I've seen many references to such sites. But please flesh it out a bit so that the Wikipedia article can be a summary of it and not a copy-and-paste.
To continue with the deletion of valid text, I would like to add the the WP:BLP is disputed, yes, in Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Biographies of living people/Content, and that the dispute is about the phrasing Contentious material about living persons that is unsourced or poorly sourced [should be removed]. But the view with most votes right now is View by Sandstein who said if the content was not already contentious before the initial deletion, that initial deletion can not be justified with the WP:BLP instruction that "contentious material ... should be removed immediately". If there is no other policy-based justification for the deletion, it may constitute disruption. So I believe that the material should be reinserted, since it is not disputed.
