population stats from AIMS[edit]

Aims estimated that the population of the district was 60,594 in 1990 but the current stats from the government of Afghanistan shows that the population of the district is less than 20,000. That is because Andarab was sub-divided in 2005 (Puli Hisar District, Khwaja Hijran District and Dih Salah District were created from Andarab district). The population stats from aims are irrelevant in this case. (Ketabtoon (talk) 15:15, 17 November 2009 (UTC))[reply]

Yeah, the population numbers presented in the article aren't correct at all anymore, since the province has been divided. This isn't even mentioned in the article. I don't want to edit the article because English isn't my native language. --159.190.251.56 (talk) 10:00, 10 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
