If Dan Brown agrees, I agree too (even though the place he mentions at AUP doesnt actually exsist at AUP at all).

Please note that the Pavillon Dauphine is an independent venue which may be rented out for events such as graduation ceremonies, lectures, galas, etc. The Pavillon Dauphine is not owned by or affiliated with AUP but it has been used to host AUP events in the past.

Tom Ford studies at Parsons School of Paris not AUP.

Can someone write a history section? eg. formerly called "American University in Paris", relationship to Pierre Salinger, etc.

Fair use rationale for Image:AUP.png[edit]

Image:AUP.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Clarification needed re: relationship to Am. U. in WDC[edit]

It would be good to make it clear whether or not the AU in DC is tied to the various other AUs or not. They may be avoiding this for some reason that I don't understand, but neither school's website makes it clear, and I may just have misadvised someone because I wasn't able to find a more definitive answer to counter my own assumptions. (And, my fault, didn't even think to query my own assumption until after the email was sent!) Suggestions? Maybe just a one-line reference in the lede, or a link to the main AU site as well in the final section (or both?) I'm sure I'm not the only one who might be confused or find such a clarification useful. Thanks--Dellaroux (talk) 15:39, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Though they share a name, AUP is not affiliated with the American University in Washington DC. This goes for all the American Universities of the world as well: AU Cairo, AU Beirut, AU Rome, etc. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:2C7:4000:3731:41EA:15F6:B2C1:72A1 (talk) 06:35, 18 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
