Sourcing problems[edit]

There are plenty of Google hits for the Alpha Beta Kappa honor society, since thousands of students graduating from private colleges and universities are awarded the honor; however, most press coverage mentions these honors incidentally as part of coverage for graduation events in general (example). The volume of news coverage suggests the article passes WP:GNG, but the quality of sources is poor. -- Scjessey (talk) 22:38, 16 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Some notes[edit]

U.C. Irvine is the most prestigious school that offers this. Many other schools are listed on their site as well. But the number of schools presented should suffice as credible. The reason it is only mentioned as part of graduation is because it is only offered post graduation on recommendation from upper school leadership, and even then, unlike other such letter orgs, the student has to initiate the application. Others orgs do direct nominations and inclusion, rather than an application process. 68.224.231.99 (talk) 02:45, 28 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

it wouldn't be difficult for this article to pass if citations using independent sources were used. For instance, you used your own website to verify the claims made in the article. Dee Soulza (talk) 16:54, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
