Roxy and Alfie's annulment[edit]

See Talk:Roxy Mitchell#Roxy and Alfie's annulment for why they are still married in 2014. –anemoneprojectors– 17:59, 1 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't ignore the note in the article or the discussion linked above. Flat Out let's discuss it 11:05, 8 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I'm just wondering where it was said that their marriage has ended (indicated by the question mark). As far as we know, the two are still married so the question mark shouldn't be there at all because it says to people the marriage ended and we don't know when, rather then the two are still married (at least in my opinion).

Please read again. I agree with you entirely but we seem to be in the minority. — | Gareth Griffith-Jones |The WelshBuzzard| — 21:01, 8 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I agree the question mark is redundant. Flat Out let's discuss it 10:10, 9 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! — | Gareth Griffith-Jones |The WelshBuzzard| — 13:05, 9 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
They are not married. Alfie has described her as his ex-wife in recent episodes AND their annulment papers were signed off in Decemeber. That means that their marriage must be annulled. I mean it is common sense.--AngieWattsFan (talk) 12:45, 12 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
You need to read WP:REHASH. You are close to being nominated for a topic ban Flat Out let's discuss it 12:46, 12 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I propose that “2013-?” be changed to “2013-14”? Roxy applied began proceedings for an annulment in December 2013, and in real life an annulment, like a divorce, would take roughly three to four months from start to finish. Alfie was also free to marry Kat in October 2014. It is crystal clear that Alfie and Roxy's marriage must have been annulled in 2014. The use of the question mark is amateurish and excessively pedantic.Vabadus91 (talk) 01:38, 8 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Nope. Classed as original research. Please read the policies, thanks.--5 albert square (talk) 19:36, 8 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Kat and Alfie are not divorced[edit]

Kat and Alfie are SEPARATED, and not divorced. And apparently we don't know when Roxy and Alfie were divorced (I was just going with by what Alfie's page said when I edited Roxy) 96.238.63.200 (talk) 00:14, 10 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Zoe Slater[edit]

Why should Zoe Slater be omitted as Alfie's stepdaughter? Alfie does not need to be a “father-type figure” to her to be her stepfather. This is an encyclopaedia, for the purpose of giving information and facts, and it is a fact that the fictional character Alfie Moon is the stepfather of the fictional character Zoe Slater. Vabadus91 (talk) 20:55, 18 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, this is as per agreement at WP:SOAPS to avoid the infobox becoming too cluttered. If you don't agree with this then the correct place to have this discussion is on the project talk page.--5 albert square (talk) 22:29, 18 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Redwater[edit]

Dominic Treadwell-Collins said that redwater isn't a spin off but a stand alone drama so should it be removed from the spin off section of the infobox. Aacfsftw (talk) 17:41, 26 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

No, because by definition it is a spin-off. They have their reasons for saying that it's not a spin-off but that doesn't mean it isn't one. Most likely because it's a different genre, different setting and completely different feel to EastEnders, unlike all the Red Button things that they do sometimes. Read the first paragraph of the article Spin-off (media) and tell me that Redwater isn't a spin-off of EastEnders. anemoneprojectors 15:41, 10 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

That's a fair point. I don't want to call it a sidequal. Aacfsftw (talk) 07:51, 12 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

We're definitely not calling it a sidequal! Also there are lots of reliable sources that call it a spin-off, and continue to do so despite reporting that "it's not a spin-off" according to certain people. Shane Richie keeps saying stuff like "we're being told it's not a spin-off" or "they've told us not to call it a spin-off", which gives me the impression he still sees it as a spin-off! I also think it's because there aren't any references to Walford, etc, in Redwater. anemoneprojectors 08:52, 12 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Someone changed the infobox with different appearances for EE and redwater but I changed it back. They also removed redwater from the spinoff section and added DTC as an introducor for 2017. Will I change this back or will I just leave it as is. Aacfsftw (talk) 19:23, 16 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You should change it back. I'm avoiding this page and Kat's until I've seen the first episode of Redwater, so I'd appreciated that, thanks. —anemoneprojectors— 19:40, 16 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The reason is because the infobox should just be for EastEnders, as it doesn't really work if it's for two show's combined. It becomes too cluttered. My opinion anyway, but it's never been discussed. I tried to make it for both but never saved my edits after previewing as it didn't work at all. —anemoneprojectors— 19:45, 16 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Storylines incomplete[edit]

Just a note - and an unhelpful one as I don't know the details to add them - that Alfie's storylines do not go up to his most recent exit, and so are fairly unhelpful. I understand he's either missing or presumed dead in the narrative currently? U-Mos (talk) 20:27, 3 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
